Our Story

A Legacy of Security Excellence

Pace Security Services Ltd currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding. A rapidly expanding team, primarily centred in London, our clientele spans from individuals and singular events to multinational corporations and enduring agreements.

Founded and presently helmed by one of the most seasoned professionals in the UK security sector, John Malcolm, the company has a rich history. Prior to establishing Pace Security, John served in the Metropolitan Police force.

His journey continued as he joined Consolidated Safeguards in 1980, later establishing Trident Safeguards in 1985. Subsequently, he spent six years in Australia, occupying various security roles, before returning to the UK as the managing director of Securiplan plc.

In 2001, recognising the demand for a reputable security entity, John embarked on creating a new enterprise. Drawing on four decades of expertise, he meticulously assembled a team of industry stalwarts who shared his vision, thus giving rise to Pace Security.
